wrapped around the spool

I don't believe I've ever seen a Mountain Goats video before, but this one for the new track "Woke Up New" is lovely. The song, as many of John's seem to, wraps around itself emotionally. The video, through effects, setup and other jimgrackery, does the same to very good effect.

Nice to see the video. It appears Darnielle has been attacked by Jarvis Cocker's stylist, though.
