Two fine finds

Two finds so far today in my slow return to net activity...

1) Fundrace.org is tracking (graphically) the fundraising progress and metrics for the presidential candidates in the 2004 race. Find out on a county-by-county level where the money is coming from.

Of course, we still need a good boildown of exactly who (on a corporate or PAC level) is funding the various candidates and processes.... But this provides a good start for the intrigued or skeptical (courtesy of D.Weinberger)

2) The Guardian (or as some of my more conservative cross-pond correspondents like to put it, Grauniad) has launched some very nice online digital editions, including PDF downloadables per page, a nice article by article in context html edition, and the like. Though information is what it is, information in the context as determined by the editor can add impact and value. I expect this will become a paid service, but it may be one worth having for Guardian fans on this side of the ocean, much like some friends in more delivery inhibited areas have resorted to digital editions of the NYT.
