It Was a Good Day

I realize that his trademark surly demeanor was probably schtick, but all the same, the pictures of the smiley, friendly Ice Cube that we're seeing in the press for his new movie are making me feel like the end of the world may be near, after all.

Smiley Cube. Surly Cube.

Are you telling me that Ice-T really was not a pimp (before becoming a rapper and actor), and Snoop Dog doesn't really have a harem of ho's, and m&m's mommy was not mean to him. What other signs of the apocalyps do you have for us?

I guess next you will be telling us that Will Smith could have gone to MIT but decided to become a rapper instead.

Actually, I think that was the case with Dolph Lundgren. He was supposed to go to MIT to chem eng and dropped out to film He-Man.

The world's a better place for his actions.

The thing about Dolph is an urban legend. You hear the same story about Jean-Claude and Cal Tech.

On the other hand, if the world didn't end when Ice-T put on the kangaroo suit, I think we'll be fine.
